Double degassing, for cast extrusion

TECNOVA, a cutting-edge company in the international panorama of plastic recycling plants, continues to stand out not only in Italy but also in the global context to which it looks with great attention, with a view to customer satisfaction and product customization.

As was the case for the E180-45D double degassing machine, created for the recycling of plastic materials but, in the specific case of this order in Belgium, it was designed for the cast, therefore flat die, extrusion of film PVB, a material with severe technical characteristics: it is a material that must be very transparent and homogeneous. We start from ground waste from film reels, which during storage have undergone significant temperature changes which have compromised their characteristics and are therefore no longer usable. The destination of the film, in this specific case, is the automotive sector which uses it for car windshields, it is therefore essential that the output qualitatively corresponds to the parameters of safety, quality and resistance.

The system was customized to meet the processing needs expressed by the customer who, mainly, required productivity and reduction of energy consumption.

The Tecnova Technical, Research and Development Department team worked to create a machine whose construction size was also expressed in the attention paid to: the choice of materials, components and the supply chain involved, all partners of the short supply chain, which allow the Novara company to create 100% Made in Italy systems.

The production capacity for this configuration is 1,000 kg/hour of film, the motors are all high efficiency Inverter, the extruder is equipped with insulated stainless steel casings which avoid heat loss and contribute to the creation of a finished product that meets the required standards and the reduction of energy consumption. The control on the machine takes place via an LC 4.0 touch screen monitor, whose management software allows you to remotely monitor the operation and intervene promptly to avoid system blocks helping the operator especially in the first weeks of work. Within the program the operator can choose between different languages ​​and different management pages for the different parts of the line.

It can be perfectly connected to systems created by third parties, in which case TECNOVA carries out the adaptations required for the connections.

The fulfillment of the order includes delivery, assembly, testing with training sessions, all of which is carried out in a maximum of 10-15 days.

The training sessions are flexible and personalized, adapting to the specific needs of each customer, the expert technicians work directly in the company with the operators, offering practical, in-depth assistance and training on the different system functions and applications.

This targeted approach guarantees that customers become familiar with the machines and develop the skills necessary to operate independently and safely, even in the after-sales phase.
