PORTUGAL - PE / PP FILM RECYCLING

An other success in the extruders' sector with double degassing system.

 

An important Portuguese company active in the recycling of thermoplastic materials has chosen a Tecnova E130/54D-FTTC line for the recovery of heavily printed PE and PP film.

The exclusive configuration of the extruder and the screw profile optimized to maximize the degassing performance allow the recycling in a single step of materials with high printing content, a result that the customer previously obtained by agglomerating the material and then processing it even twice with traditional extruders with a considerable energy cost.

The line consists of a 13 cubic meter silo for storing the flake material, the exclusive Tecnova E130/54D extruder equipped with two vacuum pumps and feeded by a forced feeding, an hydraulic screenchanger with filtering section of ø300 mm and a water ring pelletizer.

Depending on the level of contamination of the material, the line has an hourly production from 500 to 700 kg/h.
